Read on, as Alice of Story Keepers tells you more:
Hi, my name is Alice and I help you to capture and preserve your stories and memories. Life has changed during lockdown, making it the perfect time to take stock of our lives, to reflect, remember and share our stories. So I’d love to tell you about Sounds Familiar – a perfect gift for a special birthday, anniversary, fathers day or even a treat for yourself.
Inspired by radio programmes like ‘Desert island discs’, Inheritance tracks’ and ‘The tracks of your years’ we give you the chance to be the star of the show, to share the seven pieces of music that are most important to you, and the stories and memories they evoke and it’s all done remotely, making it the perfect lockdown gift!
Perfect, at only £150 with a special 10% discount for Steve Hampshire clients!
But don’t take my word for it, please have a look at some of our reviews and testimonials!
‘Alice’s “Sounds Familiar” package is priceless. She has the ability to bring back memories you had forgotten you had. The questions she asks are so clever that you delve into those moments from the past that hadn’t been thought about for years. I chose 8 tracks that illustrated 8 key moments in my life and we had a lot of fun recording and filming. Thank you Alice. It was like going back into an old treasure chest.’ Liz
“Watching Alice sensitively interact with my mother was wonderful – they had a great rapport from the start….” Benita
You are a consummate interviewer in that you listened intently, were genuinely interested and asked the right questions (not necessarily the obvious ones) to continue drawing out the narrative.
It’s a cathartic experience having the jumble of one’s life made sense of by hearing it condensed into a single narrative. It also feels like a legacy I can feel proud to leave to others as a true representation of me, were I to fall under an electric tram tomorrow (were there indeed to be any in Bristol!).
What an interesting and fulfilling experience, thank you Alice!” Steve.
