Detour Through Dartmoor – Landscapes with Steve Hampshire

As a photographer I’m always travelling around the country to photographic jobs. Recently on my way to Cornwall I took a detour to travel through Dartmoor. What a magical place. My journey from London had been in blissful sunlight, but not Dartmoor which was misty, damp and very, very moody!  Just enough time to jump out the car and catch a couple of pictures. Note to self, must go back and take some more pics of this mean and beautiful landscape. Landscapes are for decorating the world we live in, so why not take your own as you go about […]

Events – How to keep everyone happy!

At Steve Hampshire Photography I cover events such as special parties like Weddings and Bar Mitzvahs at exciting venues all over London. Emotion captured! I make sure I capture emotions, those special moments, the unsaid or undone, but the picture speaks volumes! Be everywhere but be quiet! Really important to catch everything but not to be obtrusive or loud. Remember it’s not your party – the client want you to be there – but not be there if you know what I mean. It’s in the detail – after the main event – capture the little details, alot of time […]

Following the ceremony we went with the bride and groom to the Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park to take some outdoor shots of the newlyweds. Despite the windy and wintery London weather we got some really great photos of the couple posing with the Royal Albert Hall in the background and strolling in the park.   After some delicious refreshments (mini banoffee pies anyone?) at the reception and a funny yet gracious speech from the groom we were […]

Having provided so many different types of businesses with Profile Shots, I wanted to ask a question? Natural or not?
